We have continued to think about ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ this week. The children have been thinking of different adjectives to describe the various settings and have then produced their own writing. They have been busy making their own binoculars, using a paint program on the computers to draw and write about their bear, thinking about doubling and halving numbers and finishing the backgrounds for our new book corners!
Homework has been sent home in Homework folders and involves the children asking family members about their favourite childhood toys. We will be using this as a basis for class discussion in our lessons. Please continue with home reading and the Reading Challenge. Please remember to comment on the home reading book in your child’s Reading Diary.
Next week we will be thinking about ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Internet safety, promoting Mental Health week and beginning preparations for our Mothering Sunday assembly!
