We can’t believe that the last week of the academic year has arrived! The children have witnessed the butterflies emerging from their cocoons. On Tuesday, we all went outside, as a year group, to release them! The children all had the opportunity to hold the butterflies and we waved them on their way! The children described them as “very tickly”!
We have also been working on time – looking at o’clock and half past, solving addition and subtraction problems, thinking about forgiveness (linked to Dottie and Buzz) and preparing for transition into Year 1.
Please continue to log on to Bug Club for this week’s homework. At the end of the week, we will also be sending home a sound book with your child. This is so that they can continue to practise during the holidays, ready for Year 1.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support over the last academic year and hope that you all have a happy and restful Summer.
