It’s the children’s penultimate week of their Reception experience at Little Sutton Primary School and the teachers have been reflecting on the progress made by all since September. They have all blossomed into such active and independent learners, we are all very proud of them.
A huge thank you to all of those who attended our Parent Activity Session on Tuesday – the children had a wonderful time and it was lovely to chat to you all!
The children were extremely excited to meet their new Year 1 teachers and all came back with smiles on their faces! They are looking forward to spending more time with them in their new classrooms again on Friday morning.
On Friday, the children will be celebrating the 50th Birthday of the Very Hungry Caterpillar. We have been preparing all week, through making: birthday cards, headbands, masks and bunting!
As we are approaching the end of the academic year, can you please make sure you return any reading challenge and guided reading books you may have at home.
If you wish to purchase your child’s Reception Learning Journal, please send £1 in a named envelope so that they can be prepared for you.
