In Reception this week, we will be continuing our Baseline activities and working on our daily routines/expectations. Throughout the week, we will be sharing some traditional tales and thinking about the structure of the stories and the sequence of events.
On Friday, we will be changing our books so please remember to place these in book bags in preparation! Don’t forget – this is a book that your child has chosen to share with an adult at home. It might make a great bedtime story – don’t forget your silly voices!!
The children have been doing so well at lunchtimes – we are really proud of them all. Please continue to practise using a knife and fork effectively – especially the cutting of food – to help with your child’s independence at mealtimes.
We have had quite a few items of clothing without names, especially cardigans and jumpers. Please make sure that all of your child’s clothing (including shoes!) is clearly labelled with their name so that we can match items up with the correct children! We would hate anyone to lose anything, especially this early on in the half term!
Thank you for your continued support and please remember to see a member of the YR team with any questions or queries.
