Year Six Homework – week beginning 21/9/20

We hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine. Here is an overview for homework this week:

Monday – Spellings. Please learn spellings for 28/09/20. As always these can be accessed on Spellanywhere.

Monday- Topic – research and answer specific questions about Brazil (use your notes to help). See document below for details. This is the first piece of work for the independent project. Please bring in topic book on 5/10/20.

Tuesday- English. Please learn a poem by heart in preparation for National Poetry Day next Thursday (1/10/20). These will be shared on National Poetry Day and we can also then sign off your three point challenge for this on your reading challenge. If you would like any poems to read, there are 40 poems to peruse on the following website:

https://nationalpoetryday.co.uk/poems/

Wednesday- Maths. Please complete the My Maths sheet provided and hand in to your maths teacher by 3/10/20

Friday – Reading. Please make sure you are reading at least three times a week and bring in your reading challenge on Tuesday, and Thursday next week, so we can acknowledge any progress made you have made and award any stickers needed.

Thank you as always for all your support and hard work. Any queries, please do not hesitate to let us know. Our email addresses are below:
