The Learning Trust for Excellence (LTE) has expanded to welcome a new partner – Beaufort Special School.
Beaufort is a primary special school catering for pupils with cognition and learning difficulties. Beaufort has a successful track record of partnership working following the development of a hard federation with Langley School which has been part of the LTE since it’s inception.
Rachel Davis, Chair of the LTE said “Welcoming Beaufort into the LTE collaboration adds even more strength and depth to our partnership. The primary schools within the Trust are very fortunate to have access to the wealth of expertise and specialist knowledge within the two special schools. The need for support for our pupils with special education needs seems to be increasing within mainstream provision and Langley have been instrumental in enabling us to respond. The Trust is keen to develop this particular aspect of the partnership further for the benefit of our community and families within it.”
