Year Six – week beginning 26/4/21

We hope you have all enjoyed the sunshine at the weekend and have a had a lovely couple of days. Remember Monday is Viking day and we are looking forward to learning a lot about our new topic.

This week’s homework is as follows:

Monday – Spellings – please relearn by 4/5/21 and find as many words with each of the prefixes used in your spelling list to share with the class next week (continued due to Viking day)

Tuesday – English – Complete the Reading comprehension sheet to be handed in on 4/5/21

Wednesday – History – record ten new facts about the Vikings that you learnt to share in class and use in a non chronological report for 4/4/21

Thursday – Maths – complete the My Maths activities set by 6/4/21

Reading. Please read at least three times a week for half an hour each time or read every day for at least ten minutes and record what you are reading in your homework diary. Bring in any reading challenges to be signed off too and remember to bring your book into school every day.
