We were delighted to have over 40 entries for our science project which children completed over the Easter holidays. The children were asked to create a science experiment on the theme of growth. They were invited to choose their own question to investigate, for example how does a bean change when it germinates or are the oldest people the tallest? Ultimately, the children could present their findings in a variety of ways, with many choosing to create a display board with information and photographs on it.
The standard was superb and we were blown away by the interesting ideas the children came up. The projects were displayed in the junior hall and it was great to hear the children’s enthusiasm when explaining their investigations. We are so proud of them – we certainly have some budding scientists of the future! Our thanks go to Miss Peck our Science Leader for all her hard work in organising this opportunity for the children.
