Year 6 homework – for week beginning 27th June

Well done to everyone for being so enthusiastic and mature with your lessons last week – you really impressed us all.

This week, on Tuesday 28th June, we will be having a career’s afternoon. For this, we need the children to begin to think about what they are interested in and also about what skills and attributes they currently have. They will have the opportunity to interview different people from a range of sectors about their jobs and how they got there. We will also be developing the children’s abilities to make good first impressions, which will obviously benefit them with their upcoming transition to secondary school too.

Also, it is residential time on Friday. We are very excited and can you please make sure that the school have your up to date contact numbers for the weekend. We will also send a final reminder of all the key information home with the children on Thursday. There is another copy of the kit list below in case you need it for help with packing.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need to know anything else.

Here’s to another action packed, fun-filled week.

Kind regards,

The Year 6 team
